Music review analysis of Himesh Reshammiya's album Aap Ka Suroor Unplugged (2006).

Tera Suroor Unplugged

The signature violin piece and unplugged beat from 0.39 onwards gives the right feel.

The bazz trumpet from 0.10 to 0.13, 1.19 to 1.21 & 5.14 to 5.17 conveys the pain of desperation feel.

The intense violin piece playing intermittently conveys the emotional feel.

The tune sur in between 2.56 & 3.03 is terrific.

The sitar piece between 1st & 2nd stanza, only brings more thehrav to the proceedings.

The tune sur between 4.12 & 4.18 is terrific.

Himesh's lines, IS DARD KA EHSAAS PUCHO NA (HISTORY typical unique HR melody) from 3.03 to 3.07 in 1st stanza, RAB HI JAANE YEH PYAAS KAISI HAI (HISTORY typical unique HR melody) from 4.18 to 4.22 in 2nd stanza.

Naam Hai Tera Unplugged

The starting piano piece is likeable and builds up the song.

The fast 1 bit Waltz beat from 0.25 onwards followed by subtle laidback beat from 0.34 onwards is just what the doctor ordered.

The majestic sound effect along with chime effect from 0.35 to 0.42 is nostalgic fairytale effect.

The piano piece from 0.42 to 0.43 is mesmerizing.

The piano flicks in between 0.46 to 1.05 & 1.23 to 1.34 are great.

The repetitive piano keys behind the mukhda tag lines NAAM HAI TERA from 1.05 to 1.22 & 1.35 to 1.49 are great.

The piano flicks in the 1st stanza lines are great, especially from 2.27 to 2.29

The piano keys from 3.34 to 3.39 are great.

The piano flicks in the 2nd stanza lines are great, especially in between 3.41 and 3.56

To sum up, the KEY is the PIANO KEY FLICKS throughout the song that compliment the subtle laidback mood of this song and provide the sahi desired effect.

Mere Lamhon Ki Aarzoo Unplugged

The key in this song is the QUICK REPETITIVE UNPLUGGED BEAT throughout the song, especially at 0.29 & 0.37 that is just OFF-DA-HOOK.

The matka effect from 1.00 to 1.01, 1.30 to 1.31 & 4.46 to 4.47 gives sahi desired effect.

The pleasant traditional flute / bansuri piece in between mukhda & 1st stanza brings some thehrav to proceedings.

The cute tune from 3.34 to 3.42 in between 1st & 2nd stanza is mesmerizing.

Tu Yaad Na Aaye Unplugged

The tabla pattern is innovative in between start & 0.17

The off-da-hook repetitive quick beat SKIP effect in song, i.e at 1.19 & 1.21 and so on, gives great overall kick with Himesh's vocals.

The raw drum hit pattern from 0.59 to 1.12, 1.39 to 2.14, 3.23 to 3.37 & 3.54 to 4.13 is great.

The tune sur along with Jayesh's intense classical croons from 2.09 to 2.10 is awesome.

In between mukhda & 1st stanza, the groovy retro sound along with quick beat skip effect from 2.15 to 2.24 is off-da-hook.

The off-da-hook quick beat SKIP effect in the 1st stanza is the key.

Between 1st & 2nd stanza, the mighty bazz trumpet along with groovy retro sound along with quick beat skip effect from 3.37 to 3.54 is great.

The raw drum beat pattern in the 2nd stanza is the key.

From 5.08 onwards, the combo of QUICK BEAT SKIP EFFECT and RAW DRUM BEAT PATTERN is great, and these 2 instruments are the KEY in this song.

Chahe Gila Karo Unplugged

The KEY in this song is the HAUNT ECHO EFFECT (with tremendous pain) in Himesh's dard bhare vocals as if he sung it in a LARGE EMPTY MUSIC HALL / AUDITORIUM, and secondly the PASSIONATELY INTENSE VIOLIN that conveys the emotional plea especially after 1st & 2nd stanza gap onwards until end where it grows faster in tempo in terms of quick string riffs to depict seriously charged up emotional sentiments.

Vaada Tainu

The KEY in this song is the HARMONIUM that plays intermittently throughout the song and also the CLAP EFFECT.
