Arya Acharya Recorded a song for "Khiladi Akshay Kumar" Starrer "OH MY GOD.
Akshay to hip-hop with `DID Li`l Masters 2` finalists
Mumbai: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will join five finalists of reality show "Dance India Dance Li`l Masters 2" in a promotional song, a hip-hop number for his next co-production `Oh My God`.
The song is called "Don`t worry". Akshay and the kids, including winner Faisal Khan and other finalists - Om Chetry, Rohan Parkale, Saumya Rai and Jeet Das, will shoot in Mumbai`s Film City next week, said a source.
"The look and feel of the sets will be that of a hip-hop video, and the song has references to the phrase `Hey Ram`. It will be funky and modern and has a blend of folk and hip-hop," the source added.
`Oh My God`, directed by Umesh Shukla, also features Mithun Chakraborty and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.

Sona, Prabhudheva Go Govinda
After Salman Khan's voiceover for the first teaser, it's now Sonakshi Sinha's turn to shine. The actor is gearing up for her first special appearance in a Gokulashtami song for Akshay Kumar's home production Oh My God. It will be filmed in Mumbai over five days. Prabhudheva, who directed Akshay in Rowdy Rathore (2012), will choreograph the moves in 'Go Go Govinda' and even match steps with Sonakshi.
Sonakshi says Akshay only had to get her to listen to the Shreya Ghoshal song, composed by Himesh Reshammiya, to get her nod. "Almost immediately, my feet started tapping and I knew I'd have a blast dancing, more so since Prabhu sir will be my partner. I thoroughly enjoy working with him and not everyone is fortunate to get to shake a leg with one of the best dancers in our country," she says.
Isn't she nervous? "No, she's raring to go. I'm the one who's apprehensive because after RR, expectations will be sky-high," Prabhudheva chips in. "We have to live up to earlier chartbusters like 'Govinda ala re' (Bluff Master, 1963) and 'Mach gaya shor...' (Khuddar, 1982). Fortunately, the lyrics are easy to pick up and the tune is very catchy.
'Go go Govinda' will be full-on dance masti," he adds.
To shoot the song sequence, 400 dancers will be flown down from Chennai and fitted with costumes tailored by Prabhudheva's trusted designer Jimmy Marigold. Rain machines and 15 water tankers will be used, while the flowers are being sourced from outside Mumbai since the orders are so large.
And while Akshay, whose Grazing Goat is producing the film, will be on vacation, Sonakshi is making sure she makes up for his absence with loads of enthusiasm.
"I'm just two films old and it's a little overwhelming to be asked to do something like this," she says, adding that her favourite item number is 'Chaiyya chaiyya' from Dil Se.. (1998). "Who would have thought of dancing atop a moving train? My song isn't on a train, but it's got a different flavour from the item songs you see today. It's not just about wearing skimpy clothes and gyrating around 100 men. It is an allout 'tapori' track with a 'dhamaal' Gokulashtami feel to it!"

Prabhudheva to do item number in OMG! Oh My God
Prabhudheva, who is known for his exceptional dancing skills, will be doing an item number in Akshay Kumar's production OMG! Oh My God
Akki shares a very good rapport with his Rowdy Rathore director Prabhudheva and he requested Prabhu to shake a leg with Sonakshi Sinha in an item number in Oh My God.
Prabhu immediately agreed to do the song. He might even choreograph the song.
Oh My God is based on Gujarati play 'Kanji Viruddh Kanji' and is directed by Umesh Shukla. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.

Sonakshi to do a song in Oh My God
Its not rocket science to know that Bollywood and superstitions go hand in hand. And the concept of 'lucky mascot' is not new to Bollywood.
When almost every film that starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif hit the goldmine, Kats quickly got tagged as Akki's lucky charm. But, with the super success of Rowdy Rathore, it seems that Katrina has now given way to allegedly Akshay's latest lucky charm Sonakshi Sinha.
News is that Sonakshi has been signed on to do a fast paced song in Oh My God. The film is being co-produced by Akshay Kumar with Ashwini Yardi under their banner 'Grazing Goat Productions'.
Commenting on the 'inclusion' of Sonakshi, Ashwini confirmed that they have just signed up Sonakshi for their film that's based on Lord Krishna, which has very little scope for a leading lady, and the small part is being essayed by Nidhi Subbaiah. News reports also have it that, besides Sonakshi, they also want to rope in Prabhudeva, since it was this trio that created the magic in Rowdy Rathore.
Besides Akshay Kumar (who will be playing Lord Krishna), Oh My God also stars Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty.
